What are some mind blowing facts
about neurology?

Even the most pessimistic and life-hating
individual cannot imagine the following mind blowing facts in neurology.
Misidentification of a close relative
as somebody else:
In cases of Alzheimer’s disease, a person may
become delusional and may take his/her own wife or husband as an impostor. No
amount of narration of previous incidents or situations may help. He might
mistake his wife as his most hated mother-in-law!
This is also called Capgras syndrome or delusion.
In cases of injury to the back of the right brain, this condition may occur. It
may be the one of the symptoms of a schizophrenic patient.
